Book Discussion Sets
Have a book club coming up? Reserve a kit with copies (usually between 8-10) to share among your club members.
There are more than 500 kits available for lending in the state through our membership in the Green Mountain Library Consortium (GMLC) -- and quite a few of those kits are actually available as part of our in-house collection at Burnham.
Kits can be reserved up to one year in advance, and many come with additional materials and discussion questions related to the book.
To browse and reserve a book discussion set:
- Click here to browse the full list of available kits.
- Click "Go" to be brought to the full list of GMLC kits. To see specifically what we have at Burnham, use the "Home Library" drop down to select Burnham and click the "Select" button.
- Contact a Burnham staff member via phone or email so we can confirm your desired kit is available for the dates you need.
- If the kit belongs to another library, we will place the reservation and get it delivered here. You will be contacted when the kit is ready to be picked up at Burnham. (When finished, you'll bring the kit back here for us to return to the home library.)
- If the kit is one that we have at Burnham, please complete this agreement form and we will reserve the kit for you. If you need it immediately, it will be ready once we have that form completed; if it is for a future reservation, we will determine date for when you can come collect it.
