Ordinance 2 of 2007 mandates that all trash must be stored in a closed container not visible from the front of the property, except on pick-up day.
Ordinance 3 of 1991 mandates containers be stored on resident’s property.
Residents should contact the Borough Office at 412.462.8940 before having a dumpster or dumpster bag placed on the street or sidewalk; or their property.
An ordinance requires a permit and a fee of $30 for 30 days.
The maximum time allowable is 60 days.
If a holiday falls any day preceding Thursday, trash will be picked up on Friday.
